• Our new company is responsible to issue license agreement to all licensee company under the brand name GEMMA.

1. What is the first step to obtain a Gemma Boutique License?

Each party involved is to submit an application form. Qualified parties will be notified and invited to a Gemma Boutique Business Meeting at our Sunway Office to begin the process. Criteria: The minimum financial requirements for consideration as a Single Unit License are a net worth of at least RM 150,000.00

2. What is the initial License Fee?

Upon confirmation, the Licensee is to make an upfront payment – the initial License Fee of RM 25,000.00 for a period of 5 years.

3. What are the Continuing Fees?

The Licensor will collect a Management Fee of 3% and an Advertising & Promotions Fee of 2% - based on the Total Gross Monthly Sales Turnover.

4. What are the other Fees involved?

Security Deposit Fee of RM 15,000.00 which is refundable upon termination of the Licensing Agreement. Training Fee of RM 2,000.00 which is for the training of 1 Management Staff and 6 General Workers for duration of 4 weeks.

5. What is the investment for Gemma Boutique License?

The set up cost varies and it depends on location and other factors. The estimated set up cost is between RM 150,000.00 to RM 250,000.00. The total cost will include: all equipment, the entire store fit out, the initial license fee, the security deposit as well as the training fee.

6. Do I need to choose a location before submitting my application?

Yes, you will need to propose the location of where you intend to operate the Gemma Boutique Licensed Outlet. The Management will evaluate the location based on:

B). Size

c). Rental per Month

d). Date of Availability

7. What considerations and size specifications are required for a Gemma Boutique Location?

For shop lots, the considerations will be with a minimum built up of 1,500 square feet. For commercial buildings the minimum built up will be 750 square feet.

8. What kind of training does Gemma Boutique provide?

Licensees and their team must attend and successfully complete the Gemma Boutique unique Business Management Training Program. The Training Fee includes the cost for the 6 General Workers but exclude the Management Staff.

9. What kind of continuing operations support will the Licensee receive?

Besides the Operation Manual and other materials, our Gemma Boutique Operation Executives will visit each licensed outlet regularly to render on-site assistance besides helping you to set up your first outlet. In addition we will provide you with on-going training, guidance and support to ensure your business remain competitive.

10. Do I need to be involved in day-to-day outlet operations?

One of the partners/shareholders has to be appointed as the Managing Principal of the licensed business. The Managing Principal is required to undergo the full initial license training and to spend a reasonable amount of time to oversee the overall aspects of the Gemma Boutique licensed business. However, competent outlet managers and staff can be hired to manage the daily operations of the licensed business.
